Organic wine is made from organically grown grapes, so it contains none of the synthetic insecticides, herbicides and pesticides that non-organic wines may.
However, organic wine does include sulphites (added to all wines to stop oxidation and prevent deterioration in taste), but this is generally at far lower levels than can be found in many non-organic varieties.
Many people react badly to sulphur and get headaches, and I can certainly say that I have never had a headache after drinking organic wine, unlike with most non-organic wine (it should be noted here that I very rarely have more than half a bottle of wine in one go, and of course if you were to drink too much organic wine, as with any other alcoholic drink, you would still get a hangover!)

Most of the major UK supermarkets now carry a limited range of organic wines, from around £5 per bottle. Or you can get a larger choice if you want to order online.
