Four out of five UK women use lipstick. If you wear lipstick regularly you could consume nearly 2lb of it in your lifetime, but do you know what's in the lipstick (and indeed any of the other items of make-up) you buy on the high street? It may contain synthetic colours and chemicals that can trigger allergic reactions. Some cosmetic ingredients are even believed to cause fertility problems and cancer*.
If you are concerned about this you will be pleased to know that there are alternatives out there.
The companies listed below all supply natural and/or organic make-up. The list has been split into catagories and guide prices have been included to assist you in making a comparison. We have also included a guide to postage rates.
