All Living Ethically members pledge to adhere to the following criteria, and take all possible steps to ensure that their suppliers do the same:
Human / Animal Rights
- ensure all relationships with employees and external suppliers etc are carried out in accordance with the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights
- no forced or child labour to be used in the production of products
- conduct all business practices according to fair trade principles
- no animal testing
Sustainability / Environment
- members must ensure that their business is at least carbon neutral
- use recycled paper and packaging materials wherever possible
- minimise waste, reuse or recycle wherever possible
